These shackles are used for attaching traces to carriages with swingle trees. They are made from stainless steel and feature quick release snaps for safe and easy removal. Available with or without a leather pull tag

Care Maintenance of Quick Release Fitting

• Check all bolts are tight, where applicable (Pliers recommended)
• Check that quick release shaft is properly located when closed
• Clean out grit and dirt in the spring mechanism
• Clean and oil periodically, to facilitate smooth operation
